He made' also 4000 pounds oats, and cut and saved 0000 pounds hay. This without any extra' labor. We chal lenge the County to beat b.ir six years ago w hen he moved to the plantation upon which he now lives, the first year he only made on . an average about 400 pounds seed cottou to the acre. He has improved his land every year, un til he has made it one of the best and most productive farms in the County. , Cotton Factory. Col. J. F. Jones, informs us that he has received most of the machinery for his cotton faetory, and will soon begin the spin ing 6f yarn. Col. Jones Factory is situa ed on Sandy Creek, about 9 miles from this place, on the best water power in the County.
