A Petersburg (Va.) dis patch, under date of the 2th, thus records the unfortunate death ofa young man from this State .who was at the time living in that city. . . B.W.Avcnt, a promising young man committed suicide this morning while in delirium from fever, by jumpiug into the Appomattox river, lie left his room without clothing, wrapping a sheet a bout hit body, and ran like mad to the wharf, unmolested by the passers by, al though it was broad daylight. The body was recovered and sent to his relatives in Battleboro, N. C. ekious Affray. The Toisnot Tran script says an affray occured between J. J. B.
