John Young a a juror in the civil court here.attempt ed suicide early this morning by shooting himself with a shot gun.The doctors say that it is almost impos sible for him to live the wound be ing of a very serious nature. He was serving as a juror in the long drawn out Lane case agaimst the Southern Railway which has been on trial since Monday and an evidence had been produced when this morning be fore the convening of court he tried to kill himself. K is thought that his mind was UHbalaxeed, as he acted very peculiar some year ago whiie serving as a juror. He flea to the wjoodg and remained there for an in definite time and did not visit Lex ington for a long period of time. So ths rather perplexing case seemed to have a tendency of unbalancing his mind. He was about fifty vears of age and lived out in 'Stiver-HM town skip this county.
