Hearts
An due to Indigestion. Nlnotr-nlna of every
one hundred people who have heart trouble
can remember when It was simple Indiges
tion. It is a scientific fact that all uses of
heart disease; not organic, are not only
uaoeable to, bat are the direct result of Indi
gestion. All food taken Into the stomach
which fails of perfect digestion ferments and
wells the stomach, puffing it up against the
heart. This interferes with the action ol
the heart, and in the course of time that
delicate but vital organ becomes diseased.
Mr. D. Kauble, of Narad. O.. tars : I had stomach

M'KELWAY AGAINST OBSERVER
Plaintiff Gets one Penny and
Mnst Pay Half the Costs.
Charlotte, N. C, March 19.
The case of A. J. McKelway
against The Observer Publishing
Company, for $50,000 for libel,
came to an abrupt close here this
afternoon when after the jury
had been selected, and the wit
nesses called, a second proposi
tion to compromise, made on the
part of the plaintiff was accepted
by the defendant and plaintiff de
clined to introduce and evidence
and plaintiff received a verdict of
one penny and pay half the cost.
This is the ending of one of the
most exciting trials ever held in
this city, and is considered as a
complete victory for The Obser
ver Publishing Company.
The suit grew out of an editor
ial published in The Observer last
June in answer to an editorial in
The Presbyterian Standard.
The witnesses on the part of
The Observer comprised among
its number many prominent men
of the state. The people here are
well satisfied with the result of
the trial, as they feel that it was
a matter that should never have
gone to court. It is understood
here that Mr. McKelway is to
move to Atlanta shortly.
