Rowland Mourns The Loss ol a Lovable Woman Up Town Telegraph OUIce-Mall Service Convenience. Corrttpondenoe of The RobeoonUu. Hon. H. L. Godwin, of Dunn, was in town last Tuesday. Mr, 0. L. Robertioh attended the State falf at Columbia this week. Dr. Robert Graham attended the funeral of Mrs. Bradley at Red Springs last Saturday. The profoundest sympathy of our people goes out to Rev. J. W Bradley in the death of his be loved wife which sad event occur- ed at the home of her father.near Red Springs, last Thursday af ternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Bradley were only married last January and her death at this time is in deed a sad affliction. Mrs. Brad ley became a resident of our town immediately after her mar riage and it took her only a short while to win the love of every one without regard to religious creed. Mrs. Bradley possessed in a marked degree that charm of manner so peculiar to Southern womanhood and her death brings deepest sorrow to every one who had come within the circle of her acquaintance. The bereaved husband can rest assured that he has a double portion of sincerest sympathy in his great sorrow- Announcement is made that the Western, Union Telegraph Co. will establish an up town of flee here on or about November 1st. This is something that has long been needed, and the com pany is to be commended for its action in the matter. Mrs. R. S. Dickson is at Red Springs in attendance at the bed side of her father, who is very sick. The inauguration of mail ser vice on theFayetteville-Columbia train now gives us the Wilming ton papers at eight o'clock the morning of publication. This is quite an innovation and is much appreciated by our people. PROFESSIONAL CARDS. 1 A. McLean . A . W. If iLhi. J. O. MeCormiek. McLEAI, HcLEil A McCOBUCI, ATTORNEYS AT LAW, LUMBERTON. . N C.
