The number of llob-sonians in attendance upon the EWpMst State Convention ut Greensboro last week were notably conspi cuous, and all .seemed to emovi themselves in a very high de gree. The large delegation from all parts of the State, including a goodly number of representa tives from other States, were royally entertaiued by the gen erous inhabitants of the Queenly City; and Greensboro most won derfully sustained her reputa tion of being a rapidly growing and prosperous city. It was a privilege to be there. The Con venuon was not up to the aver age in some of its aspects, but we attribute the shortage due to the absence of Dr. B. D. Gray.of the Home Board.who has the dis tinction of being onp of the best speakers iu the South, and Dr. R. J. Willingham, of the Foreign Board, Also held in high regard.
