Both are already rented. E. Fisher will build a handsome two-story house for his own use on Trinity street near the rail road crossing. Dr. Brown has been quite sick but is out and at work again. C, where she has been teaching. F. G. Taylor left last Sunday for Rowland, where he has ac cepted a position with Ward, druggist. ' Dr. Haidy Andrews has re turned from the Medical College at Charlotte and visited home folks last week. Friends of Dr. W. McPhauland his charming wife were sorry to give them up to Lumberton. Mr. and Mrs. Poole, of St. George, S. C, are visiting D. W Galloway's family. Mrs. Flemming Ramseur. of Lynchburg, Va-f visited her bro ther, B. O- Townsend, last week. Dr. K. A. Thompson, of Lum berton, was a welcome visiter in town last Sunday. Mrs. A. G- Stafford, of Latta, S- C, is visiting her father, H. G. MitchelL Mrs. Robert Drum mond left last Monday, for a visit to her daughter in Columbia, S. C. Contractor Dan Atkinson has begun a nice two story house on Cottage street for C. F.
