THE SEMI-WEEKLY ROBESONIAN Women s Secrets 2? TV.er is one man i.i the United States who !aa3 perhaps heard vwre women's secrets than any other maa or woman in the 4.va?tf y. These secrets ere not secrets of guilt or shame, but the Vecrets of suffering and they have been confided to Dr. V . Pierce in the hope and expectation ot advice and help. "iii ie oi iheua vvo.uca have been disappointed in their ex pt'iatIoas is proved by the fact that ninety-eight per cent, ot ..aff women treated by Dr. Pierce have been absolutely and aJ&jigether cured. Such a record would be remarkable if the sc treated were numbered by hundreds only. But when hct record applies to the treatment of more than halt-a- mil TuLft women, in a oractice of over 40 vears. it is phenomenal, ivJ entitles Dr. Pierce to the gratitude accorded him by women, as the first of specialists in the treatment of women's diseases. .Every sick woman may consult Dr. Pierce by letter, absolutely without .-chctge. AH replies are mailed, scaled in perfectly plain envelopes, without dsrj- printing or advertising whatever, upon them. Write without fear as with out fee, to World's Dispensary Medical Association.. A hard fight, led by Senator Beveridge in his capacity as chairman ot the Com mittee on Territories, gave us the present State of Oklahoma, with suitable population and bounda ries. Arizona and New Mexico ought to have been united and brought in as one State with a proviso that after fifty years the State might be divided into two if it had population and wealth equal to twice the average of the rest of the States of the Union. In nothing else have onr politi cal parties more perniciously ob structed statesmanship than in the shaping and admission of new States. Under the bill as passed it will be some time be fore State constitutions can be adopted, and four new Senators can be seated at Washington. Meanwhile, this chapter of our history being closed, we must ail unite in wishing Arizona and New Mexico a great and honora ble future. Let us also hope that their four United States Senators mav prove to be men of sound character, even though of limit ed public experience. -- From Have on hand at all times Fresh eats, can goods and in fact most anything in the Grocery line: also have a nice assortment of Earthen Ware. Especially pertinent to the some wnat aeierrea summer season which seems to have at last de scended upon us, is the general tone of the July issue of Physical Culture. The current number of this well-known magazine is devoted chiefly to water sports, and in addition to a contribution on "How to Master Swimming," by Annette Kellerman, contains discussions on "Bathing in Many Climes and Times," "The House boat as a Summer Home," and many similar topics. Among the more instructive features of this issue are Upton Sinclair's opinions on "Mother-. The Old and the New," and t e original and common-sense re commendations of Physical Cul ture's editor, Bernarr Macfad den, on "Acute Stomach Disor ders," and "The Treatment of Scarlet Fever," together with a complete series of exercises for "Developing the Hips, "illustrat ed by a supplement in colors.
