the superior court of Robeson county,
made in special proceedings entitled J.
K. Atkinson et al, ex parte, the same
being No. 8439, upon the special pro
ceedings docket of said county, the
undersigned commissioner will on Mon
day, the 2nd day of December 1912, at
12 o'c'ock m at the court house door in
Lumberton, N C , offer for sale to the
highest bidder for cash that certain
tract of land lying and being in Orrum
township. Robeson county, bounded
and described as follows, to-wit:
First tract On the east side of Hog
Swamp, beginning at a comer in or
near a pond near E C. Atkinson's house
and I una east 160 vards with K. Atkin
son and William Hedgpeth's line; thence
a south course to their other line; thence
direct to the beginning so as to include
four acres in a triangle near said E. C.
Atkinson's house.
Second tract Beginning at the cor
ner of Atlas Atkinson's and runs north
to the corner of a 300 sere survey a
stake in Emcoin Atkinson's field just
below his house it being the original
corner of the above mentioned 800
acres; thence east 87 chains and 26
links to a stake. Stone's corner by his
fence; thence north 15 east 10 chains
to a stake in a small flat; thence north
79 west 101 chains to a stake on the
wett side of Ho Swamp in H F. Pit
