AUCTION SALE I
This is to be an unusual day for Lumberton. On this day practically all the merchants will have on special
sales, selling goods at greatly reduced prices; and there will be many other attractions. There will be a bicycle
race, foot race, baseball game, brass band, etc. We will sell at public auction to the highest bidder quite a bit
of Lumberton's most valuable real estate. Below is a map of the town and the black places on it indicate the
property we will sell. A description of each lot will be found in the blocks on each side of the map.
j PROPERTY NUMBERED 2 ON MAP
I is owned by ex-Sheriff Geo. B. Mc-
Leod. It is located between Gospel
laoiernacie ana Jewish Synagogue
The lot is about 90x80 feet. It hasn't
yet been surveyed and will probably
measure more than indicated above.
This is a nice piece of property and
there are many things for which it
might be used. It is a good location
for a residenec. or it might be used
for some kind of business. It is cn
excellent place to build a large
boarding house. Terms one-third
cash, balance one and two years.

PROPERTY NUMBERED 4 ON MAP
is owned by Mr. Edgar Price of Mc
Donald and has a good cottage on it
and room for another. The house is
rented for $8 per month and is worth
more. Terms one-third cash, or
bankable paper, balance one and two
years. This lot is in a section of the
town that is developing fast. It will
probably be sold at much less than
its real value. The highest bidder will
get it.
PROPERTY NUMBERED 5 ON MAP
is owned by Mr. N. H. M'White. The
lot is located on the corner of Ninth
and Pine streets, and is 77x108 feet.
Mr. M'White lived on this lot until
recently, when he lost his home by
fire. He has decided not to rebuild,
and that is the reason we are able
to list this property for sale. We will
give terms on this lot, and it, too,
is going to the highest bidder.
PROPERTY NUMBERED 7 ON MAP
is owned by Dr. Rowland Dees. This
is a beautiful lot and is plenty large
for two houses. The lot is vacant
and will be sold to the highest bid
der. Terms one-third cash, balance
one and two years. Dr. Dees has
just purchased a lot nearer his house
and this is his only reason for decid
ing to let this be sold.

electric lights. The house cost over
$3,200; but Dr. McPhaul is buying a
piece of property on which he ex
