It has been decided that tfce camp to be established in the South shall ba at Fort Oglethrope, Dodge, Cn. Representative Kenneth D. Mc. Kellar of Memphis, was nominated by Tennessee Democrats at a pri mary on the 15th to succeed Luke Lea as United States Senator. Death of Mrs. Catherine James Bul lock Correspondence of The Robesonian. Fairmont, R. F. D. 1, Dec. 17 Mrs. Catherine James Bullock fell in peaceful sleep at her home near Ka rmont Dec. 5, 1915. She was a faithful member of the Baptist church and was held in high esteem by all who knew her. She was born in Co lumbus county and tiwice married. Her first husband, Andrew Ashley, died during the war. To them were born four children, three of them still living. Later she was married to Joseph Bullock. To them were born five children, four of them still iving, making seven children, a hus band and a number of grand chil dren to mourn their loss. It would be hard to find a more loving and sympathetic wife. As a mother she was loving, painstaking and sacrificing. Surely in her case the Scripture was fulfilled where it says, "but the path of the just is as a shining light that shineth more and more to the perfect day." ON FRIENDSHIP The following was sent -The Robe sonian recently by its Glennwood cor respondent: A few lines of poetry composed by Prof. Edgar Bundy and two of his pupils: Sometimes a friend one wishes to be, To one who loves a friend, And the prize of friendship that one asks Is just to be lcved by a friend. It seems that the prize is too great, Or the friendship, 'tis not worth while; For one will scorn the love of a friend And cast sweet friendship in sad ex ile. Edgar E. Bundy. At a special election on the 14th Greensboro voted bonds in the sum of $75,000 for new sewers and $50, 000 for street work. Of all my friends I ever knew The best one is my mother, I love her more dearly Tien ever I can another. She makes me feel that life is worth living, When days are dark and sad, She to me is always giving, The things to make me glad. Stella McNeill. HAVE YOU WEAK LUNGS?
