Fine Healthy Child ,
Kimnle Inexpensive Remedy Checks
Early Tendency to Con
stipation
About the first thing impressed on
the young Mother is the necessity
for regularity in her baby, which
brings up the question of the most
desirable laxative for children's use.
Mrs. Jesse , Richardson, Philpot,
Ky., says she has used Dr. Cald
well's Syrup Pepsin for the past
year and that there is no medicine
in the world like it. She writes,
My little son William, Jr., just lov
ed it because it is so pleasant to take,
and everybody talks about his being
such a fine healthy boy4"
Dr. Caldwell's Syrup Pepsin is a
compound of simple laxative herbs,
free from any opiate or narcotic
drug, and is the standard remedy for
constipation in thousands of homes
throughout the land. Drug Stores
verywhere sell it for fifty cents a
"bottle. Get a bottle of this excel,
lent remedy, and have it in the house.

Correspondence of The Robesonian.
Marietta, April 17 The commence
ment exercises of the Marietta
school began last Sunday morning
when the school, in a body, marched
from the school building to the hand
some new Methodist church, where
the commencement sermon was
preached by Rev. Mr. Willis of Dil
lon. Mr. Willis gave us many ex
cellent thoughts and his helpful and
inspiring sermon made a lasting im
pression on all who were present.
The music was an especial feature of
the service.
On Tuesday evening beginning at
8 o'clock, the annual concert was
given. The program was a most
delightful one. The children carried
out their parts well and reflected
much credit on themselves and their
teachers .OjDfe of the most interest
ing numbers of the evening was a
quartet, "Way Down Upon the Swa
nee Ribber", sung by Mesdames W.
T. Jenrette and W. M. Oliver and
Misses Lula Page and Rachel Oliver.
The scene and the manner in which
thv pang were a delight.
Wednesday morn'ne at '11 . o'clock
the school sang "Happy Welcome to
AH" in such an imnressive way that
every one felt elad to be in the
spacious auditorium. Mr. Frank
Oough of Lumberton introduced Mr.
J. A. Brown of Chadhourn, . the
rpeaker of the day. Mr. Brown gave
an" address which his audience will
not forjret. He had many loyal
friends in Marietta but when he clos
ed his address he had won his way
into the hearts of all who were so
fortunate as to hear his enthusiastic
talk; .
At one o'clock the people were in
vited to dinner. A long table had

In the afternoon two medal con

Relieved Catarrh
Is a great achievement.
Alost people would be well
and happy were it not for ca

any one's life to learn how to
get rid of catarrh.

than any one could tell you,
how to get rid of catarrh.
THE PERUNA CO., Columbtu, Ohio
Mrs. Emma Gannon, 107 E.

"For fifteen years I had catarrh of

called to The Ills of Life I read
it through. Then bought a bottle
of Peruna. I am entirely well now."
