A gash which it took 3 stitches to sew up was cut in his forehead and his right shoulder and hin were somewhat bruised. The ac cident happened in front of the Rob eson Auto Co's office on south Chest nut street. Dr. T. C. Johnson was summoned and dressed Mr. Felt's wounds. He was able to be out this morning. The auto belonged to Mr. M. H. French of Wilmington and Simmons, who is bell bov at the Lorraine ho tel, drove it to the garage to get some gasoline and instead of putting on breaks when he wanted to stop he threw it into low gear. Simmons was arrested on the charge, of reck less driving and was required to give a $50 bond for his appearance before Recorder E. M. Britt. The automo bile was not badly damaged.
