bia, S. C, for further training. Mr.
C. M. Fuller received a wire this
morning from his son advising that
he expects to arrive home Thursday,
but for how long is not known.
Mr. Skipper is in the infantry. He
is a graduate of the A. and E. col
lege at Raleigh. Mr. Fuller as a
graduate of Trinity college, Durham,
and of the Harvard university law
school. He was located here, asso
ciated with Mr. E. J. Britt, when he
volunteered for the officers' training
camp, and gave up bright prospects
in the practice of law to serve his
country. Mr. Proctor is a graduate
Greensboro, commending him for the
manner in which he handled the local
office. Mr. Bowen has also received
a copy of a letter sent out from the
examining office to Mr. Glenn
and Mrs. L. M. Cook.

Mrs. H. M. Ivey of Howellsville
Mrs. H. M. (Bud) Ivey died Friday
morning at her home in Howellsville
township. Deceased was about 22
years old and is survived by her hus
band and two children. Interment
was made at Bladen Union church,
Bladen county, Saturday at 11 a. m.
Deceased was a member of Bladen
Union Baptist church and was a good
woman.
