Deal Practically Closed For An-; other Warehouse at Corner of First and Cedar Streets a; Fourth Warehouse May Bej Built Before Selling Season Opens. The deal contingent upon another signature to papers which have been executed partially, the lot has been bought and the contract let for the erection of a new brick tobacco ware house in Lumberton. The new build ing will be 80x200 feet. It will be erected at the corner of First and Cedar streets and will front on First street. Messrs. A. W. McLean, K. D. Cald well, K. M Biggs and L. H. Caldwell are the promotors of the new ware house. The contract for the erec tion of the warehouse was let to Mr. Sam Branch, local contractor, and work will be begun on the building at an early date. The warehouse has already been teased to Messrs. Knott & Smith, of Henderson. They have conducted a sales warehouse at Henderson for sev eral years and have been in the ware house business for 25 years. The new warehouse will be known as the Farm ers' Warehouse, the same name as the one conducted by Messrs. Knott A Smith at Henderson. Mr. Smith spent Tuesday here and leased the building. Lumberton already has two wV re houses and it is probable that an other besides the one mentioned above may be erected by the time the sell ing season opens. The office bnilding and fixtures of the Kingsdale Lumber Co., located nar th comnanv'e mill, about one mile from town on the Creek road, was slightly damaged by fire about 8:15 this morning. The fire orig inated from a stove flue and was burn ino- between the eeiline and roof when discovered. The greatest damage done was in moving out the fixtures ante. The alarm was turned in up town and the fire truck went to the scene, but the fire had been extinguished by the fire company at the mill be fore the truck arrived. FARMERS INSTITUTES Mr. Millard W.
