Lumberton, R. 6 who underwent a very serious operation last week, is getting along Miss Martha Flax Andrews, city, who was so badly injured by being run down by an automobile last week, is gradually improving.' . From the looks of the loaded cars being unloaded here 'daily the mer chants are buying up their spring aiid summer stocks. Mr. John Hedgpeth who formerly lived opposite the wholesale grocery store, has moved to the eastern part of town. Our pastor, Rev. Mr. Dodd now lives there. Our Sunday school reorganized last Sunday- Mr. W. R. Surles was elect ed president and we have made new resolution to go forward with greater Interest than ever before. Everybody come and help us. The members of the First Bapt.'st church of Proctorville visited our new pastor. Rev. Mr. Doid Tuesday night and pounded him; presents such as a pastor would appreciate.
