The Southern Express company ,
yesterday recovered $200 of the $1,435

former cashier at the local express
office, who absconded on March 6 ana

left Lumberton with Newell when he
absconded.
According to the story told by Ivey,
he took Newell to Pembroke on his

train there and went to Atlanta, Ga.

gave him the $200 to keep for him
until hA could get enough to make
