If he thinks Scotland is suck a eood county and has such fine toads I want Maxton cut on ana giv en to Scotland. I went across Scot land county a few days ago. The road from Lumberton to Maxton is so inch better than the one from Max ton across Scotland that there is no eoaaparison. I think we have too many officers. What good does Mr. Dukes or Miss Andrews do this part of the county? Waere are those high-rricej rural policemen ? Monkey rum is made and sold in these swamps and they have aot tried to find the guilty ones. Mr. McAllister's work was done just as well by our school committee men as he does it, and no expense to the county. I think wc shou'ii ao away with bo mny of these urine essary offices and .rrre our tuxes. This can easily be done without dividing the county. If you will just end Mr. Varser to the Senat we can I.
