This spring is situated the north foot
of a small hill, which is ihe most north
wardly spur of that r ne of hills whoso
waters feed the Susquehanna. The hill
appears to be composed f clay and tx hist,
and the spring pours out its water near
its north foot, about to rods above the
plane, where the iimesione region com
mences. This water flows toihe Susouc
hanna. Although, in a direct lint , it is
within 9 0" 10 miles of the Mohawk ri
ver.
