FROM the Suhscrilier, living in Ca- barrus County, on the 24th of June last, a HAY MARK, about 3 years old ; she has a bald face, her right eve half white, one hind foot white, but I do not recollect which, and a very high rump. She was taken up in Salisbury two or three days after lea ning me, and a yoke put on her and turned loose again. The mare was raised in Davidson county, and I think it probable that sho is trying to get back there again. 1 will give a reward of Five Dollars to am person who will deliver the said mare to me, at Mount Pleasant, Cabarrus county, N. It is supposed the above runaway is in some of the neighborhoods in which he has been hired, then belonging to John Carson, his clothing not recollected. The Doctor, who once resided in this place, but now lives in Raleigh, has, after a long and exten sive practice, been enabled to compound a most va luable remedy for the chronic diseases of the di gestive organs, so common in Southern climates, especially with those who lead sedentary lives. It would be an easy matter to make out certifi cates to prove that these Pills are a "sovereign re medy" for "all the ills that tlesh is heir to;" but it is not pretended that they are an universal anti dote. Certificates of the most respectahle Physi cians and other gentlemen can lie shown to sub stantiate their etlicacy in the particular class of diseases above spoken of : and the Editor of this paper can testify that he has derived speedy and permanent relief, in the use of them, from a most distressing and long-continued had-ache. No paper will be discontinued until all arreragtsa are paid, unless at the discretion of the Editors. 3. Subscriptions will not be received for a less time th.tn one year; and a failure to notify the Editors of a wish to discontinue, at the end of a year, will be consi dered as a new engagement. 4. Any person who will procure six subscribers to the Carolinian, and lake the trouble to collect and transmit their 4u!criptiou-rnoney to the Editors, shall have a pa per gratis during their continuance. 5.
