We understand that the New North State, at Greensboro, has a re port to the effect that John Allen Ketchey had made his escape from the jail at this place, and also turned out other prisoners. This is one grand mistake. Ketchey is still in Jail and has made no attempt to brake out since his capture last Christ mas, and, as we learn from Sheriff Wag goner, there has been no attempt on the the part of other prisoner to escape.
