Now that new officers have been selected, it is to be hoped that the premium list will be gotten out with out delay and distributed among the farm ers before thev Ditch their crops If 1 suitable premiums are offered for such articles as the farmers produce they will groat ly stimulate the interest of the peo pie and insure a large turnout in the Fall. We notice that Managers of the State Fair have already issued a premium list. It is thought by many that greater premiums should be offered on Agricultu ral and Mechanical products and less on horse rasing, and we are satisfied that such a policy would tend to enhance the in terest of the country people in our Fair.
