I am aware that the Eupeptic Spring have long had a reputation for their vtfieacy w Dyspepsia, General Debility, Dysmenorrhoea, Renal diseases, &c., and I must think that no Springs in the world are more auspiciously located jor lung diseases, as you certainly have a pure atmosphere to breathe, and the purer the air the less labor is repiired of the lungs to supply the system with the necessary oxygen. Staying all night with you last winter a year, I was struck with the remarkably cool night, compared with the previous one, and my attention was thus drawn to reasons why you have such a pure atmosphere at you place, t. you are just lit the outlet (notof the Gulf Stream, but of a health stream,) a valley, or successson of valley, running North West and South Feast, crossing the Appilachean chain of mountains at the head of ihe North Fork of New River, then still further in a direct line throuirh the Brushy moun Congressional delegation fmin thi I tains, ttrrough the Hunting Creek Gap, running', as that stream does, entirely hroueh that chain- Then we might urge Mai.
