Sunday school, the prayer meeting, the state of religion Ac Ac, were discussed in a practical manner, and it is hoped, so as to be productive of much good. The meeting wim an exceedingly I interesting one, especially as it was the first of its kind. Monday, November 26th, 1876, at eleven A. M. was chosen as the time of the next meeting, and Third Creek' church as the place. Rev. J. Rumple was selected to preach on that occasion. a sermon on "Domestic Missions," and Richard Sterling to read an ensay on' the duties and responsibilities of ruling Elders and Deacons." It is hoped that at the next meeting, a full at tendance of Pastors, elders and deacons, from Salisbury, Thyatira, Back Creek, Belhesda, Franklin, Unity, Third Creek, mid Mocksville churches will be present, as these comprise the cluster designated I by Presbytery as funning thin association.
