Death of William B. Fraley.
The old acquaintances of this gentle-
men nave doubt less experienced a pang
of sorrow on hearing of his death. If

the neighborhood in which he lived has
sustained a loss not easily repaired. H
Evangelist Pearson.
Rev. R. G. Pearson, the noted evange
list, is now conducting a aeries of meet
ings in Charleston, S. C. His meetings
are being held at the Citadel Square
Baptist Church. He has made engage
ments for the next twelve months in
Southern cities, and after that he will
visit Europe and Asia Minor, accompan
ied by Mrs. Pearson. On February 1, Mr.
Pearson will besma series of meetings
in Baltimore. Sneaking of the methods
of conversion pursued by him, Mr. Pear
son said, according to the News Cuvrier-.

and sensational methods. I want every
thing conducted decently and orderly.
I introduce into my meetings life enough
to be interesting, order enough to be de
cent and interest enough to be health

miles north of here. The robbers climb
