A Thomasville; special to the Charlotte Observer has the fol lowing concerning the funerai ; the late Engineer George KiniiPy, who was killed some days sino at a wreck near Danville : "The funeral services of G. C. Kinney, who was killed in the wreck on No. 34 yesterday morn ing near Danville, Va., were con ducted from, the home of his father, Jerome Kinney, here this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Th; services were conducted by the Masons of this place and Spencer, A speciaf c Jlj brought hisjSpencer friends and engineers of his brotherhood. There were many and appropriate floral de signs. The most touching part of the funeral was When No. 30 passed the residence, with its en giii draped in white and black, and with the whistle blowing a moffied and mournful sound in respect to the dead engineer.
