G rover Cleveland, former President ol the United States, was elected chairman of the Association o Life r Insurance Presidents at t meeting of the executive com mittee today. Mr. Cleveland b&t accepted tho poeition. The Association of Life Insur ance Presidents, which recently was organized, is composed of lb executives of the principal life in surance companies of this coun try. The object of the organiza tion is to co operate for all kinds of reform, which the members claim will increase dividends of policy holders. ' Mr. Cleveland also will act as chief counsel for the association. In addition to these duties, Mr. Cleveland, will act-as referee in cases of dispute between the com panies. For these services he will receive $25,000 a year.
