Mrs. Jane Earnhardt wife of M. L. Earnharnhardt died of paral ysis a few weeks ago and was in tered at the Holiness church near here. The 10 days meeting at the Holiness churches was a great sue cess in regard to drawing crowds as they were both well attended day and night. Jim Newkirk colorad is on trial for his life to day in the Superior Court, the grand jury having brought ima bill against Mm for burglary. A Vernire of 25 men was summoned to day. he is charg ed with entering and robbing the house of Joham Hariston on May 31st. ' Other cases disposed of are: William White aud John Har grave disposing of mortgaged property. White pleads guilty and judgment is suspended upon pay ment of cost and good behavior. John Pethel selling liqaor, guil- ty. Ed Cozort false protence, not guilty. Isiah Allen larcency not guilty. Will Rogers retailing, guilty. Attention is called to the Rife Hydraulic Ram advertisement in this paper. T. A. P. Roseman, the agent, has placed a number of these rams in this county and they are giving very satisfactory results. N ws was received here Monday of the accidental death of Henry Ritchie a young man about 21 veaxs of age at Richfield on Satur day aferuoon on one of the towers of the Soathern Power Co. The young man was employed by the Company and was at work on "the tower when he was seen to throw up his hands and fall forward to the ground a distance of about 60 feet.
