Some of the farmers in our community are sowing oats. Some one Has propounded an old question which we are not sure we have ever heard of any decision being handed down from the higher courts as a final settle ment. The question is in regard to a pumpkin vine on one man's land having crossed the line and grown a pumpkin on the other man's land. Whose pumpkin is it? It seemi that if the vine were strong enough to go on a visit and produce fruit on the other man's place, the owner of the vine could easily, pull the vine back home and drag the pumpkin baok with it. The fruit not being a fixture, it seems to us that it is the land owners pump kin on whose land the vine grew . We hope this will be final unless some one can settle the question more satisfactorily for atl con cerned. Babttettk. To Mothers And Others.
