Widower are looking for a
large town like .New York,

their club houses, gambling
dens, and everything of that
kind here m Pooltown, they
will be mistaken when they
get here. ! They probably
have had such illusions as
this in their dreams, but
dreams do not prove tiue
everytime. We have no
limited speed for autos run
ning in our town, no club
houses, gambling dens, no
blind tigers or any that can
see either. Wow come right
along Uncle Tom and The
Old Widower and give our
little town a visit, and then
you will be a whole lot wiser
than you are now. Stop your
dreaming of Pooltown and of
the pretty girls around here
and make the trip a reality.

Eli Wyatt died at bis home near
here Saturday morning June 21st.
Mr. Wyatt has been in failing
health for soma months with a
complication of ailments, but had
only been in bed for about a
week. The funeral services were
held at St. Matthews E. L.
church Sauday evening at 8
o'clock, after which the mortal
remains were laid to rest in the
cemetery. Mr. Wyatt was 71
years old and served as a faithful
oldier in th civil war, and con
litentand faithfol member of St.
Matthew's E. L. churoh until his
death. He leaves one sou and
three daughters and a large num
ber of relatives and friends to
mourn their loss.

will have another wedding to re
port before many more days loll
