Koons went Norwood last week to attend the district meeting of the Jr. O U. A. Owirg to th writer bing very busy w did not give a full ac count of the 8itb, annual session of the Reformed classes which met at TJ ramus Reformed church beginning April 29 and closing May 3. We can net tell of ail the good work that was done but the following is a part of the pro gram that was carried out moat successfully. The 84 classis was one of the most harmonious meet ings that, the Reformed church has had for a period of 30 years, and at this session it is hoped by the true Christian spirit that prevail ed will mark a great era of pro- gnessivenesB in the Reformed churches. Nazarath Orphans' Home gave a splendid entertainment Friday night, May 1st. A collection was taken up and $85 was received for the benefit of the orphan children at Nazarath Orphans' Home Much praise was given Rev. and Mrs . J. W. Belle, the efficient sup erintendents of the home, for the careful training of the ohildren Sunday, May 3, one of the largest orowds cf people that have ever been in RockweH cn any occasion was there. The Lutheran aud Bap tist cODgregatious tendered their ohurches to be UBed by the Re formed people at 11 a. m. San day Rev. W. W . Rjwe, a former pittor of Ursiuus church, preaohed to a crowded house and at the same hour Rev. C, W. Warlick preacked at an overflowing house at the Lutheran choroh and many said that it was one of the strong est and most f'Tceful sermoi s etfer preached in Rockwell. At 2 p. m. Rev. Wm. H. McNairy, who was the founder of Ursinus Re formed church, preached quite au interesting sermon to a large cou gregation of people and at the same hour Rav. J. C. Peeler preaohed at the Baptist churoh. At this olasBis cne of the most peoular events took place that has ever happend at any previous classis, Oolambus Holshouser, who runs a hardware store at Rockwell, was jtut preparing to close his place of business and go to dinner whon some one called him to the front door. While was talking with the party in front of his place of business Rev. J. A. Koons, pastor of Ursiuus, oime up and asked Mr. Holshouser to use his 'phoae and, while Rev. Koons was talking ovar the 'phone Mr. Holshouser forgot about Rev. Koons beiog inside the store, locked the door aod went to din ner. When Rev. Koons finished talking to his party over the 'phone to his amazement he found he was in the look-up, so he 'phon ed to James Holshiuser who is mayor of the town and also where Mr. Holshouser boards, to see what the ohanoe would be to get out. So in a short time Mr. Holshouser, acompanied by Rev. Andrews, aud several other ministers, ap peared at the sceue and after a short conference was held it was decided to give Rev. Kjous his freedom. This was quite a joke on Rev Koons but it was not in tended so, and was only Ccueed by an oversight. The Reformed peo ple of Rockwell did everything they could to entertain the minis ters and delegates while in our midst and we must say that the meeting of the Reformed Classis was one of the most pleasant events that has ever taken nlace at Rockwell, and we hope time will not , be so long when these good people will meet at Rookwell again. MAKES BACKACHE QUICKLY DISAPPEAR A Few Doses Relieves All Such Miseries. Bladder Weakness, Kidney Trouble and Rheu matism Promptly Vanish It one to suffer with backachmgy kid ney trouble, have disagreeable blad der and tirinarv Hisnrrtpra tn mnfaml . - w VVULVUW with, or be tortured with rheuma tism, stiff joints, and its heart wrenching pains, for the new discov ery. Croxone. ouirklv and nr1i re lieves all such troubles. Croxone is the most wonderful iremedy yet devised for ridding the system of uric acid and driving out all the poisonous impurities which cause such troubles. It is entirely different from all other remedies. It is not like anything else ever used for the purpose. It acts on the prin ciple of cleaning out the poisons and removing the cause. It soaks right in through the walls, membranes and linings, like water in a sponge, neutralizes, dissolves, and makes the kidneys sift out and filter away, all the. uric acid and poisons from the blood, and leaves the kid neys and urinary organs clean, strong, healthy and well. It matters not how long you have suffered, how old you are, or what you have used, the very principle of Croxone is such, that it is practically impossible to take it into the human system without results. There is nothing else on earth like it. It starts to work the minute you take it and relieves you the first time you use it. If you suffer with pains in your back and sides, or have any signs of kidney, bladder troubles, or rheuma tism, such as puffy swellings under the eyes or in the feet and ankles, if you are nervous, tired, and run down, or bothered' with urinary disorders, Croxone will quickly relieve you of your misery. You can secure an orig inal package-of Croxone at trifling cost from any first-class druggist. All drupcrista are authorized tn n.r. sonally return the purchase price, if it aus in a single case, "STARVING TO DEATH" Was Mrs. Bell, of Florida, When She Began Taking Peruna. "Yes, I was starvlngr to death," said Mrs. Emma Bell, of Fort Fierce, Florida, Box 204, "when I began to take Peruna. I could not eat any thing. If I swallowed anything it soured on my stomach. My stomach was very much swollen. My bowels acted as if I had acute dysentery. I was in great distress and pain. Three doctors had been employed, but gave me no relief. I was continually growing worse. I Was In Despair. "In my despair I caught at every straw. Picking up a newspaper I saw some account of Peruna. There was a testimonial from a woman who had been troubled much like myself. I concluded to try Peruna. I Wrote to Dr. Hartman. "At the same time I wrote to Dr, Hartman. He pronounced my case catarrh of the stomach and bowels. I soon began taking Peruna. At once I began to improve. After tak ing half a bottle my stomach was so improved that I could eat some." I Began to Recover. Then this good housewife goes on to narrate In detail her rapid im provement and final recovery. She said, "After taking two bottles of Pe runa I was strong enough to stand up to wash the dishes." When she be gan taking Peruna she weighed 102 pounds. After she had taken five bottles of Peruna she weighed 122 pounds. She concludes by saying that she is welL It Was Twelve Years Ago. The letter from which the above quotations were made was received January 29, 1901. ' In a later letter, written September 11, 1904, she Bays, "I sing the praises of Peruna far and near. For other testimonials on catarrh of the stomach, see "Ills of Life," sent free. Address Peruna Co., Columbus, Ohio. The stomach and bowels are lined with a mucous membrane. They are therefore subject to catarrh, the same as the nose and throat. Catarrh. of the stomach and bowels will derange the functions of these organs. The stomach can no longer digest food. The food lying in the stomach, even for a short time, without digestion, immediately sours. The souring pro duces gas and irritation. Food Sours In tfie Stomach A portion of the undigested meal is absorbed into the system by the blood . vessels of the stomach. This poisons the whole system, producing a condi tion now known as autointoxication; self poisoning. The fermenting, irri tating mass, as it passes down into the bowels Irritates the bowels, pro ducing sometimes a chronic diarrhea, sometimes producing the very oppo site, constipation. The average dyspepsia medicine helps to artificially 'digest the food. Even when such medicine does its work It is only temporary. A perma ment relief can only be expected when the catarrh is overcome. Symptoms of Catarrh of the Stomach. The symptoms of catarrh of the stomach are: First, heartburn. Sec ond, food rises in throat after meals. Third, sour stomach. Fourth, heavy feeling after eating. Fifth, stomach bloated, belching of gas. Sixth, pal pitation of heart Seventh, poor di gestion, have dyspepsia. Eighth, tongue coated light brown. Ninth, tenderness over pit of stomach. Tenth, cannot bear tight clothes around waist.
