Harper, at Miama, Okla., wb

had been ill for several weeks
with a complication of diieases
and gradually grew worse until
death olaimed him . Mr, Harper
came to Salisbury from Kentucky
and at first conduoted a feed store

livery business with his brother,
Elbert Harper, and dually dispos
ed of bis interests bare and went
west where he has lived since.
While here Mr. Harper married
Miss Auna Crowe of Danville, Ky.j
at which place his remains were
taken for interment. Hr Har
per was a man of many splendid
qualities and enioyed the friend
ship all who knew him. Hewas
