sented by the - Khedive of Egypt to
Mra Fitch. Referred to the Commit
tee on Appropriations,
Mr. Hargent presented a memorial
of the Pacific Mail Steamship Com
pany remonstrating against the repeal
of the act granting a subsidy to that
