By varying the decora tions or usirig llounces alternately with the ribbons? the same lace may be used for apparently two distinct sets of lace or naments. The Mar ie Stuart p&ruro is composed of fine white muslin and Valenciennes lace ; on each ot the gatherings is placed a nar row black velvet, headed by narrow Valenciennes lace, and the full collar is fastened with a bow of velvet to match. "Imperial Orange" is the name of a new color or dye.
