P., Chairman, and Jno. Cowan, J. P.,
Secretary, when it was resolved that
the Chairman appoint a Committee, to
consist of one from each Ward in the city
and one from each Township in tue coun
ty, to recommend suitable persons for
liegistrars and Poll holders, also to. pro
vide places for registration and polling
places, said Committee i to report at a
subsequent meeting of this Board.
Col. Cantwell offered thc fallowing
amendment. That the Committee make
enquiry and ascertain what sum3 will be
paid for places of registration, also what
sums to Toll Holders and other necessary
expenses. Carried.
