Painful Accident.
Our Fremont correspondent informs us
that Mr. Leonard Dickinson, one of the
most worthy citizens' of Wayne county,
while riding in a cart with two of his
children, on the' 18th inst., was seized
with au attack ot vertigo, causing bun to
fallout. This frightened the horse and
caused him to run away, and both childo
ren were thrown violently to the ground,
one ot whom, a boy aged about five years,
was completely scalped, besides sustaining
other severe bodi'y injuries. The other
fortunately escaped unharmed. Dr. W. J.
Gilbert w: s promptly in ! attendance, and
every means known to science applied to
lelieve the agonies of the little one, who,
at last account?, was doing well, and in a
fair way to ultimate recovery.
The crops are reported as about one
third less than the average, and with a
great deal of tickness, harves ing is some

j Chins. I , "
The retreating chin is indicative of the
want of attachment, and I but little ardor
in love. i i
The chin in its leDgth and breadth iDaj
dicates sell contiol, self will, resolution,
decision, etc. j i
A narrow, square chin indicates the
desire for love, and is more common
amoug women. !
The broad 6quare chin indicates ardent
love, combined with great steadfaftnesj
and permanence of affection. .
Carnivorous animals have the upper
jaw projecting, while those of the gram-
niverous nature have the lower jaw pro
jecting, In man with a projecting upper jaw
will be found large destructiveness and
love of animal food; whsn the lower jaw
projects then the love lor vegetable foodJ
A pointed or a round chin indicates a,
congenial love. A person with such a!
chin will have a 'beau ideal' and will not
be satisfied with real men or women.
The indented chin indicates a great de
sire to be loved; a hunger and thirst for
affection. When large in woman she may
overstep the bounds of etiquette and may
make love to one that pleases her.
