A. VOGELER 6c CO,, ZZallimore, Md, ZT, 8. JL "JUST IMAGINE HOW I FELT." Bsuxswick,'Co., Va., November 5th, 1881. Mrs. Joe Person, F'ranklinton, N. C Dear Madam: It is with pleasure that I write to tell you that your valua ble Remedy has entirely cured me of a most fearlul looking and painful sore on my ankle. It came more than twelve months ago, very much like a riDg worm. I painted it with Tinct. Iodine, until it became a very painful and bad looking place. Then I commenced to try every thing I coald think or hear of, until it became so very painful I could scarcely walk, when I went to the best doctor in the. country for advice. He told me befcould cure me if I would take mv bed ana there remain for four or five w'eeki, and if I did not , do so pretty soon, it coald not be cured at all, as the bone would become diseased, and my foot would have to be taken off. Just imag ine how I felt, to be told there was no care for the sore but to lose my foot, or give up all bnsiness either of these Re medies would have mined me. Mind you this was the advice of one of. the best doctors in the State of North Carolina and this conversation took place last February. I continued to burn with caustic, as he advised until September, but derived no benefit from his treatment. I was advised then by r friend to try jour Remedy, (Bitters and Wash) took tbe first dose the 17th of September, and I am now a well man, tbe sore is perfect ly cured, and I can now walk as far, ounce as much and jump a high a' ny nan you know." Put me back toll lat of September, let me know as much as I now do of the virtue ol your Remedy, and I would not hesitate to oav tea dol lars a bottle for it,,if I could not get it fcrlese. I think more of it than any medicine in the world. It is not only the best Remedy to purify the blood and care all skin diseases, but I believe it will cure all kinds of blood diseases, and I know it will care a love for strong drink. I hope yoa will have this published, as there are many sufferers who could be cured, if they could know c f and get your Kemedy i am truly and respectfully, JOS. R. MASON, South Gaston, N. Q. The Charleston News and Courier, of the 10th iost., in speaking of the ap pearance of Miss Gene vieve1 Ward in the above-named play, say 6: Thia actress is one of the most powerful that tbe boards of the Academy have known for many seasons. , Miss Ward's method is almost perfect in its way. She belongs to the lrench school tt dramatic art.and her effects are subtly wrought out and are singularly impressive. The part of Sfchanie de Mohrivart is not one which can enlist the sympathies of an audience, and the interest . with which Miss Ward invests it is an intellectual feat which is' worthy of admiration. In vigor, in refinement, in a certain blending of subtlety - and force which is. ulmost indescribahle in words, but which is very perceptible to tbe educated understanding, this person - atioi must he ranked very high.
