Their proper name is "spot." The name of Jinnuie" was given them by reason o old Jimmie Johnson, a , very sue ccssful fisherman, seldom bringing any other kind to market. At Odell & Co's. yesterday, we saw a bunch of berries of the second growth almost matured. Some of the berries were quite ripe, while all were in an advanced state of maturity. If frost is delayed two weeks there will be plenty ot new blackberries. Laurinburc Enterprise: Nearly all house servants are leaving their em ployers to engage in cotton picking.
