Moore's conclusion that all ballot in tho wronz box should be dia- carded, 1 would state an excoptioq. Depth of Water. The last report of soundings taken at the mouth of the river show-that at mean low water there were 13 feet and 6 inches at Bald Head bar, and 11 feet and Inches at the Western bar.
