Pitts will repeat his lecture on 'Dick ens as a Humorist," at Tileston Upper Room, on next Tuesday eveuing, will be received with pleasure by those who were deterred from hearing him at the Library Rooms last week by the inclemency of the weather. This lec ture is to be repeated, as stated, at the request of Miss Amy M. Bradley. Prin cipal of the Tileston School, and a cor dial invitation is extended to tho public to be present and hear it. Dr. Lalterty'a Lecture. The lecture promised our citizens from Rev. J. J. Incrty. 1. D.. of Riehmond. Va.. will be delivered at the Onera- House, in this city, on next Thursday evening. Dr. Ierty has selected as his theme "The Old Times and the New" and the who have ever heard, or heard of. this distinguished divine, will know what to expect.
