Charlotte Observer: The enow storm
which visited us night before last, was
considered to be a pretty lively one, bni
it was not a circumstance ' compared to
i the storm that raged from High , Point

snow fell to the detHh of 21 Ihcbeft on a

from there on to Klcomoon toe deptn .

erfterday, left Richmond on tirac,drawu
by two coal burning engines, and such
was the dept h or snow on toe wacx,
that at the time the train was dne at
Charlotte, it had just arrived at Dan
Ville. The snow clogged the driving
wheels, and wjw dashed into the fire
boxes In tuch quantities as t make it
difficult to keep the firea up. When the
train pulled pnto Greensboro yesterday
at about 3 o'clock, U looked a jTit had
just arrived from the Arctic regions.
All tno works ol tne engines were cov

with fidgety, fretful passengers. The
train arrived here last night at 8 o'clock.
Capt ; Kennedy, the train dispatcher,
yesterday afternoon made up a special

Four or five freights followed 53 last
