Warehouses had rousing breaks last
week, especially on Thursday and Fri
day. and the prices were iit the top
notch. During the past I few years
six ol our male citizens apparently in
perfect health have come to sad and
sudden deaths, falling dead without a
moment warning. j
Greensboro Patriot: A Colorado
company has leased the Lindsay mine
near High Point and will begin work
on it this wck. -A .workman at
the Hoover Hill mine was killed last
week. He was cutting through from
one shaft to another when; the water
rushed on him in such volume that he
could not escape. Dr. S. W. Ben
ton, High Point, swallowed a fish bone
several 3'ear3 ago, which has giyen him
great pain at times and caused him
