The action of the Board of Aldermen in reference to a communication from Mr. Wm. Calder, McEachern and Kenan. The Board did not concur in tho prop osition of the Board of Aldermen to make an expenditure of $100 towards the publication of Maj. W. L Young's book, entitled 'Semi-tropical Area."
