"Ca mine," by the Cora Van Tassel Com pany. It had. been thought by many who were acquainted wilh the exacting requirements of ihe play, that Miss Van Tassel would be hardly equal to the character of the title role, which she assumed. In this, howeyer, they were mistaken, for her interpretation ol that character was faultless, and it is said by many that she appeared loeven belter ad vantage last night than in any ot her previous efforts. She entirely sunk her own individuality and was utterly absorbed in tiie character of 'Camille." and as such chained tho most earnest and interested attention of the audience The support was ex cellent throughout, and the play was a triumph, well-deserved and sin cere. The costumes of the le- male characters were superb. That the play was well given was evi denced by the proh ur.d and rapt atten tion ot the audience. In the passages of doeiest pa' hos I he dropping of a pin might have been heard, so entirely were the sy in pal hie of the audience ongrosscd by the sei ne and situation The 'Company gave.
