The Louisville Cou rier-Journal says of them: We know what an opera de cam era is now. It was revealed last night at the beautiful theatre of our Musical Union before an overwhelm ing audience by Lilly Clay's Colos sal Gaiety Company. It . is called -The Little Devil's Revel" because in plot it represents an Utopian gov ernment of women a solitary Adam displays his dudish wisdom in this bower of loveliness. An opera de camera is evidently a scene, of fe male revelry where mirth, dance, song, and beauty hold high carnival where lovely figures robed in ex quisite dresses reign supreme. Who among the hundreds present last evening will ever forget the dreamy beauty of that charming and delici- ously graceful series of dainty evolu tions called the "Stephanie ttav- otte?" And when the superb chorus in 'unison chant the melodious strain 'And lo! a new thing in the pight of the sun, We've had "The Little Devil's Revel." evervoodv is satisfied of theabsolute truth of the assertion. She is handsomely furnished, and has ample and commodious accom modations for passengers, j' She has been considered one of the most pleasant boats of her class in North" ern waters, and one of thb swiftest and safest. She is to be command ed by Capt. John W. Harper, who will leave here with his crew about, the 20th of this month to ring her here. , She will probably begin the Summer schedule early in May.
