The State Convention of the Young Men's Christian Association, which takes place at Charlotte on the 19-22 inst., will be an occasion of extraordinary note and importance. will send seven dele gates and there will be a yery large attendance from all parts of the State. The various railroads haye given reduced round trip rates for the occasion, some of which are as follows: Asheville $7.30, Statesville $2.45,Greensboro $5, Bingham School $G.10, Chapel Hill $0.75, Goldsboro $9.20, Laurinburg $5, Henderson $8.80, Morganton $5, Salisbury $2 45, Winston $0.10, Durham $6.75, RaL eigh $7.75, Wilmington $7.80, Wades- boro $3.15. Rates from other points can be as certained by applying to the agents at the stations who have been in structed by the authorities. The rates are low and Charlotte stands ready to entertain any number of delegates, and it is hoped that each association or community will send as large a delegation as possible. Pastors in towns where there are no Y. M. C. Associations at present ar requested to send at least two dele gates to represent the young men of their congregations.
