They go hence to Nor fork by rail aud from that port by steamer to Nova Scotfa. since Mr. Hardwicke laid away to rest his wife, the beloved compan ion of his manhood's years, and now the last of his children is to be borne to Oakdale to rest with those who have gone before. j ' Mr. Hardwicke has been a resi dent of this city for jnot more 'than fifteen years, and during that cycle aud a httlf of time he has lost his en tire family, wife, two sons and two daughters. Only three little ones, children of his daughters, remain to comfort his declining years: It is simply terrible to think upon. The heart of the whole community, as with one throb, goes out to him in his, great grief.
