I Applied to Hood's Sarsaparilla the word Peculiar fs of greatimpqr tance, rt means that xjoo's Siairsa parilla is differeqt from other prep arations in many vital points, which make it a thoroughly honest and re liable medicine. It is Peculiar, in a strictly medicinal sense; first, in the combination of remedial agents used; second, in the proportion in which they are prepared; third, in the process by which the active cu rative properties of the medicine are secured. Study these points well. They mean .volumes. They wajsp Hood's SarsanaJiUa Peculiar imttf Curative powers, as- i" accomplishes wonderful cures hitherto unknown; and which give to Hood's Sarsaia rilla a clear right to thetitle of "The greatest blood purifier ever discov ered." ' It is Signor Carn paninfs first tour of the South, and this appearance here of this great "King of Tenors" will be a great event in musical circles. He is ac companied by the eminent canta trice, Signorina Deverevthe prima donna of the troupe, and a fine array of talent, including Miss Mary Groebe, contralto, Signor Bologna, basso cautate, and Signor Terrari, conductor. The New York Herald says: Signor Campanini made his reap pearance at Steinway Hall yester day evening. ? The hQuse was not as well filled as it might have been. But had it been crowded to the very doors the ap filause could not have been any ouder or more intense. Everything was rewarded with frantic plaudits. and the programme, which original ly called for eighteen morceaux, was supplemented by at leasttwenty additional pieces. The audience was delighted. Over Signorina Clementina De Vere, the coinpanyTs prima donna, they posi tively went- into raptures. She sang the rondo from "Lucia," the Shadow Dance , from "Dinorah." 'The Last Rose of Summer," and was heard besides in a couple of concerted numbers.- Each and every one ,of these numbers was applaud ed just as if Mmes.
