Beets $1.25 to $1.75. Tomatoes scarce and wanted, and strictly prime stock will bring from $3.50 to $4.50 a crate, and from that down to $2, according to quality and condition. Choice colossal Charleston $5.50 to $6 per dozen; prime $3.50 to $4.50. The arrivals of new potatees from the South continue moderate and prices range all the way from $6 to $9 per barrel, although a few very choice marks have been placed a shade higher. A few Charleston strawberries have already appeared in the mar ket, but they are largely small and green, and do not command the at tention of buyers as compared with Florida berries. Prices range from 15 to 28 cents per quart for the for. mer and Florida 20 to 30 cents. Fancy Indian River oranges, se lected sizes, $4 to $4.50 per box; brights, mixed, $3 to $4; russeis, se lected, $3 to $3.50; mixed counts $2 to $3. Hoard of Aldermen.
