Steamship Onlf Stream Captain Tribou, arrived at this port last night from New York, having in tow the steamship Raleigh, from Doboy, Ga., for New York, with lumber. The Ilaleigh is in distress, having lost Her propellor at sea, but is otherwise all right. Hon. Alfred Rowland, Represen" tative in Congress from this dis trict, was in the city to day and at the Orton House. He is on his way home for the Christmas holidays and we are glad to note that he ap pears to have fully recovered his health. Dropping in at Messrs. One is a bill issued by the"United, Colonies," for $7, issued under . act. of Congress passed at Baltimore in 1777, and .signed by Jno. Taylor and L. Norris, and the other is a North Carolina currency bill for $5, agreeable to an Act of As sembly passed at Smithfield, May 15th, 179. This bill was signed by J. Hunt and John Taylor (not the ot her John) the first in black ink and the latter in .red ink and the printing and signatures are all clear and distinct, unlike the other bill on which everything is very indis tinct. , This State currency was printed in ViImington, in 1770, by Hugh Walker.
